Before installing a new rubber floorcovering, its necessary to have the screed without rugosities or cracks; you need to remove the entire existing adhesive using a sanding machine. We do not recommend using removers as they contain solvents that may damage the new adhesive.

Yes, but its temperature must be less than 29ºC as higher temperatures may cause softening and increase the risk of irreversible marks.

In those areas where the subfloor keeps in touch with ground, its possible to find arising damp. In these cases and also when installing over new screeds it is necessary to perform moisture tests.
There is a difference between curing time and drying time. Curing time is the period of 28 days that the concrete needs to finish its chemical reaction. Drying time is the period of time necessary to reduce water vapour emanations. This period of time will depend on many factors such as ambient temperature, Relative Humidity and amount of construction water used.
There are two methods to know if the subfloor is dry enough to receive a rubber flooring:
a) Lay a tile over the subfloor to be tested and place a load of approximately 10-kg over the tile. After a 72 hour period you should observe the back of this tile and if it does not show moisture signals it means the subfloor is ready to receive a rubber flooring.
b) Apply a sheet of polyethylene (approx. 100 x 100 cm) and seal its perimeter using adhesive or adhesive tape. After a 72 hour period if the subfloor is still wet you will observe water drops between the polyethylene and the subfloor; this means installation mustnt be carried out

You should warm up the room and it also must be ventilated.

Before applying the adhesive, sweep or vacuum the whole area. When laying tiles, always loose laying tiles to check direction, building lines and different shades. Please be sure to do this with the appropriate lighting and in the event of any problem please replace the tile before applying the adhesive.
You must take the same precautions when installing sheets. Please be advised the sheets are not rectified and you must rectify them before installing or overlapping. When installing veined sheets, it is extremely important that you always loose laying sheets to harmonize veins.

It is necessary to place sheets of plywood or acrylic onto the surface to protect it from the action of wheeled chairs during the first three weeks. During this period of time, the adhesive reaches its maximum bonding properties.

Never. You will need to spread the load by placing strips of plywood on the floor under the load. Then the load can be moved, avoiding damages.

Be very careful with this kind of loads, they may have screws or ledges that may affect the floorcovering. Any detrimental effect can be minimised by using furniture leg cups. Its recommended having a backing of 1 in2 /30-45 kg.

Its recommended using large diameter wheels, as the others can cause floorcovering to come unstuck. Recommended min. diameter 50mm; minimum contact surface:25 mm. Always check the wheels for faults.

Always check the legs of the chair. Remember to use furniture leg cups and always check them, as damaged cups may pierce the surface of the floorcovering.

It is necessary to place a sheet of asbestos under them as the heat coming from them may discolour the floorcovering.

You should use the recommended products that have been tested and approved by Indelval S.A. However, there are several similar products that can be used too. Never use coloured waxes as they may permanently damage the floorcovering. Never used solvent-based cleaners.

Yes, the floorcovering should be scrubbed using a 350 rpm (max speed) rotating machine fitted with soft bristle brushes (never use black, brown, green, red or beige brushes)

We recommend daily maintenance, but frequency will depend on the traffic. Remember: dust and dirt are natural rubber floorcovering enemies. If left uncontrolled, would shorten the life of the rubber flooring. We suggest placing a door mat at the entrance (length: 1.50 m) aprox. Do not forget to clean the door mat periodically.

Use orange desolvit on the gum and remove w/a Teflon spatula. Or, freeze the
gum and peel off.

NO!

Try spraying a little Windex™ (w/out ammonia) on the affected area. Wipe
clean w/ a soft towel and clean water. Then buff tile with a soft towel to help
return the shine.
